Sunday July 8 Rowan Goes to Camp

Wow, yet another glorious weather day! Hung around the house this morning, enjoying the yard and the sunshine. This afternoon we delivered Rowan to the Bristol 4H camp. He'll be there for the week, with a bunch of his buddies. This is probably the first time that Brennan has been without his brother for that long. We've driven all over the area on these secondary roads getting from here to there and everywhere. Its beautiful! Corn everywhere, wineries, but also grain crops and, we think, string beans. Everything is green and lush. Canadarago lake is very inviting! Stopped at Woolley's Farm to visit the donkeys.

We dropped Bennan off at his mother's (The "shift" happens at 6:00 on Sundays). Kelly's daughter Allie had joined us earlier in the day. For dinner we drove up to the town Canandaigua  at the north and of the lake to a Japanese restaurant called Sakura where we were entertained by the Hibachi chef! Lots of fun!

Drove home via the "scenic route".The sky is so clear you can see forever!

So the fun is about to end as we head home tomorrow to 100 degrees (but its dry heat).
